About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The Mount Royal Undergraduate Humanities Review, publishes essays and other kinds of intellectual work by Mount Royal students in areas relevant to the subjects taught by the Mount Royal Department of Humanities (History, Philosophy, Women’s Studies, Gender Studies, Religious Studies, Indigenous Studies, Canadian Studies, and Art History).

Peer Review Process

Submissions are reviewed by one faculty member of the Mount Royal Department of Humanities.  Final publication decisions are made by the Editor in consultation with the Editorial Board.

Publication Frequency

The MRUHR is published annually in the Spring.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
