Author Guidelines

Submissions may be essays or other kinds of intellectual work appropriate for an online journal that are relevant to the subjects taught by the Mount Royal Department of Humanities: History, Art History, Philosophy, Women’s Studies, Gender Studies, Religious Studies, Indigenous Studies, Canadian Studies, and Humanities. Submissions that originated as an assignment for course credit are welcome, but should be amended to make them appropriate for and accessible to a wider scholarly audience.

Submissions should be between 1500-6000 words in length and should be carefully referenced using either Chicago, MLA or APA citation styles.

Submissions are reviewed by one faculty member of the Mount Royal Department of Humanities.  Final publication decisions are made by the Editor in consultation with the Editorial Board.
